Dara Distillery takes its name from the Gaelic word ‘dair’, meaning ‘oak tree’. In Celtic culture, the roots of trees connect to ancestors and all living things. The brand design of Dara Gin therefore utilises the perfect visual metaphor representing the connection between all things natural as well as the people’s connection to each other and their ancestors.

After our precise distillation process and mix of natural ingredients, we suggest serving as follows: one part Dara Gin to three parts premium tonic. Garnish with a slice of lime, a garnish of cucumber with fresh mint over ice for a deep-rooted, delightfully balanced taste that is bottled in small batches for your unique enjoyment.

The Dara Knot is often said to represent the endless cycle of life, death, and rebirth, as well as the interconnectedness of all things in the natural world. In Celtic culture specifically, Celtic knots have a deep significance and are often associated with the ancient Celtic Gods and Goddesses.
